I bet you are ill and it probably isn't from the antibiotics. But antibiotics can stay in your system for a few days after you are done taking them. But they would be growing weaker so that is what makes me doubt they are the side effects of the antibiotics.

How do I mitigate the negitives dealing with antibiotics?
-
ANSWER:
take probiotics.....just be sure to take them a couple hours apart from the antibiotichttp://www.pharmacytimes.com/issues/articles/2005-07_2471.asp
During antibiotic therapy, taking probiotics as well keeps the intestinal flora in proper balance. They can be taken together, but not at the same time of day. In order for the probiotics to be the most effective, they should be taken at least two hours after each dose of antibiotic. When the treatment has been completed, double or triple the probiotic supplements for about ten days or two weeks. Probiotics should be taken with food or shortly after eating as food dilutes the stomach acids enough for them to survive their trip through to the intestines where they belong.

Home Remedies for Bacterial Vaginosis -How To Treat Bacterial Vaginosis at Home
Usually inside the vagina, there are certain bacteria such as the "good bacteria" which keeps the "bad" in their normal level. This is what we call bacterial vaginosis.
Home remedies for bacterial vaginosis have been actively investigated to lower its incidence rate in women. This would also help in saving some money since medical treatments are very expensive. One of the main focus of this home remedies is to rebalance the normal vaginal flora. Most likely if this is achieved; we could get rid of bacterial vaginosis permanently.

Side Effects Of Bacterial Vaginosis

Natural Cure For Bacterial Vaginosis - Safe And Free Of Side Effects
In most of the cases symptoms of Bacterial Vaginosis subside after some time but when these are persistent and severe than natural cures are the best way to treat the problem. Natural cures for this problem are safe and free of side effects which make them suitable for all and do not pose other problems like irritation of skin or dryness. It is a common problem and can be transmitted hence precaution is very necessary during aggravation of the infection to prevent it from spreading.
Apple Cider Vinegar has been used since long time as natural cure for Bacterial Vaginosis, this can be used internally as well as externally. Women suffering with Bacterial Vaginosis can apply Apple Cider Vinegar to the affected part or soak a tampon or cotton ball to insert it into the vagina for immediate relief from itching and burning sensation, the best part of this natural cure is that it maintains the normal Ph balance of the vagina to keep it healthy and its delicate skin safe while treating the infection effectively. Consuming two teaspoons of Apple Cider Vinegar with a glass of warm water before meal helps the body in curing the infection and also it is a good habit to prevent infection from resurfacing.
Yoghurt has been used by many women to cure this problem naturally by using it in diet as well as by applying it topically. Soak a tampon in yoghurt for 10-15 minutes and insert it into the vagina and let it stay for few hours, repeat this after every 2-3 hours for two days to suppress the symptoms quickly and cure Bacterial Vaginosis naturally. Increased intake of yoghurt is also beneficial not only to cure Bacterial Vaginosis but its regular use in diet develops natural defense system in the body to prevent the infection from aggravating in future.
Warm tub baths can also provide effective and natural cure for Bacterial Vaginosis. If one wants immediate relief from troubling symptoms of the infection then mix 3 cups of Apple Cider Vinegar in warm water and sit in the tub with legs folded for at least 15-20 minutes. Boric acid powder can also be mixed with water in place of Apple Cider Vinegar to control the infection and relieve the symptoms. Garlic is another very useful remedy for Bacterial Vaginosis as it has rich anti-oxidant properties which help the body in flushing out infection, some people suggest topical use of garlic as effective natural cure for Bacterial Vaginosis but one should be careful while using it topically as it can be harsh on soft and delicate skin.
Bacterial Vaginosis cannot be cured permanently, but person suffering with it can remain tension free by preventing its aggravation and natural cures are the best ways to do it. However, taking some precautions can be equally helpful like avoiding use of scented toilet paper, strictly avoid deodorants and perfumes close to private parts or in undergarments, avoid any sort of contact of affected part with detergents and washing powder and avoid too much douching of private parts. One should always try to keep the affected part dry as much as possible and should avoid wearing tight clothing for long duration. Use of fresh vegetables and fruits in diet is good for over all health and also work as effective natural cure for Bacterial Vaginosis.

QUESTION:
Side effect of Metrogel? anyone ever used this for Bacterial Vaginosis?
I'm about 14 weeks pregnant. I found out I have BV (bacterial Vaginosis) So I was given Metrogel on monday to use for 5 days. Well I have been using it for 3 days now and I have a white discharge, which I know is the gel coming out but later today I saw it was tinged light pinkish orangish...I'm wondering if that's also the gel or if it's a really light little bleeding thats coming out with it. I called my OB she said she doesn't think it's a big deal and I only have today and tomorrow left so to just take it. She said if it's blood it could just be from my papsmear I had yesterday...but this was a real weird color like light pinkish orange color...so idk it didn't look like blood it looked like part of the gel. I understand taking care of BV is very important while your pregnant but I'm alittle concerned. Has anyone ever taken metrogel and had this side effect of it?-

QUESTION:
Will grapefruit seed extract work to cure bacterial vaginosis?
I don't want to take the Metronidazole that was prescribed to be because of the side effects that I have a history of. Does grapefruit seed extract work to cure this? How much/how do I use this? If not, are there any other natural remedies that will work? Thanks!
-
ANSWER:
No. Natural remedies generally won't work on bacterial infections, despite all their bogus and unproven claims. Stick to scientifically proven medicine, not alternative medicine nonsense. Tell your doctor you have had a history of side effects with that particular antibiotic, and they can prescribe you a different one. Real medical doctors have undergone years of studying biology, chemistry, physiology, pathology etc etc and respect science, experiment, evidence and clinical trials, whereas naturopaths, and other alternative medicine claimants, are not required to learn such knowledge, and instead rely on unverified anecdotes and hearsay.

What Is Bacteria

What Good Bacteria Do in your Pond?
We usually hear the saying that we need bacteria in our body for us to survive. It's actually true. We need some good or beneficial bacteria in our body and as well as in our surrounding to carry out different functions in our body and in the ecosystem. Let's take pond bacteria for example. We should be aware that all ponds are inhabited with different kinds of bacteria. Basically, we can categorize these bacteria to the good ones and the bad ones. The good bacteria, also known as aerobic bacteria exist in the water for a very important function. They efficiently keep organic waste like fish waste products, uneaten feeds, dead vegetation and some fun-off of fertilizer that can cause water quality problems. The bad bacteria, or also known as anaerobic bacteria, are the one responsible for the foul odor and the poor quality of the water. Sometimes, there are some instances where in the good bacteria are over powered with the different organic waste products; as a result, there will be an ecological imbalance in the pond. Some of the reasons for the imbalance in the ecology may be the over population of the fish, over feeding or maybe debris from the environment that are washed off due to the heavy rain.
The good bacteria or the beneficial bacteria in the pond will be unable to decompose the waste products immediately, the oxygen levels can deplete and the anaerobic bacteria will start to become prevalent, and will start producing hydrogen sulfide that will cause the foul odor that we usually smell in unhealthy ponds and poor water quality. One good thing is that nowadays, there are commercially available pond beneficial bacteria that you can buy in the market. You are like strengthening your army by adding more soldiers in your camp. You should always outnumber the bad bacteria in your pond so you can maintain a balance ecological system.
Since we can never be sure when will bad bacteria will colonize our pond again, it's better to get ready always. As what they always say, prevention is better than cure! It's a very good idea to add beneficial pond bacteria in your water on a regular schedule. You should remember that you can do this as often as weekly, as but not more often than that. Try to consult with a professional pond keeper. Sometimes, the number of times that you should add some beneficial pond bacteria depends on what kind of pond do you have. Also, since good bacteria need oxygen to function well, it will be advisable to have a good aerator or fountain. You can also try helping the good bacteria by preventing unwanted debris from the environment falling into your pond. Scoop out excess feeds, leaves, dead vegetation, etc from your pond. Having a healthy pond is not that easy to have, but with the help of good bacteria, it will be a piece of cake for you!

QUESTION:
What are the pros and cons of being uncircumcised?
I am a regular at getting vaginal bacteria and was wondering if its because my husband is not circumcised and if it makes it harder too get pregnant.-
ANSWER:
I am uncircumcised so I can probably answer this question easily. If a guy takes a shower everyday and washes his penis regularly (like common sense tells us), then he will be clean and infection free whether he is circumcised or not. This whole foreskin "trapping bacteria" thing is just ridiculous! It doesn't trap bacteria if you don't allow bacteria to accumulate there. There are a billion people in China and they don't circumcise boys in that country. Do you really think that half a billion Chinese men have trapped bacteria under their foreskin? Come on! Only in America do people think that the foreskin is a bacteria trap to be cut off!
Assuming the guy is healthy and has a normal functioning penis, there are not cons to having a foreskin that I am aware of. That part is simply meant to be there and has several specific functions. There are many 'ongoing' American based studies that have been attempting to link keeping your foreskin with the transmission of various diseases. However, most of the are usually found to be flawed, poorly implemented, or just debunked all-together. American doctors have been trying to promote circumcision for hundreds of years for a variety of different reasons. Every generation they come up with some new reason to keep it around and every generation we debunk the rationale for continuing it. It's the reason why circumcision remains popular in the US and has dissapeared from developed European countries. Having said that:
1. In my experience, there have been no cons for me or my partners. This of course would depend on the individual but other than people (growing up in America) having all sorts of preconceptions about uncircumcised penises, there really isn't anything bad about it.
2. I've never had a complaint from a partner (assuming she even noticed that) and certainly none of them have ever devolped any physical conditions as a result of being with me.
3. Being circumcised or not has absolutely nothing to do with pregnancy. Most men in the world (like 80%) are not circumcised and we have babies all the time. So obviosly the two things cannot be related.
4. It's unlikely that your husband would be transmitting something to you without having any symptoms of his own. Yes it's possible but if he obverves proper hygiene and hasn't had any infections himself, then the source of your problem lies elsewhere. If I were you I would talk to your OB/GYN.
Hope that helps.

Treatment For Vaginitis

Vaginitis: A new Ayurvedic Treatment
What is vaginitis?
Vaginitis is described medically as inflammation of the vagina. The three most common vaginal infections are Bacterial Vaginosis, Vaginal Candidiasis and Trichomoniasis. They are caused respectively by bacteria, fungus and a parasite called protozoa. Harmonal changes and allergy could also trigger white discharge in women. Vaginal infection can produce a variety of symptoms, such as abnormal or increased discharge, itching, fishy odor, irritation, painful coitus and urination.
What does Ayurveda hold for vaginitis?
The drugs used in the study included the flower of Woodfordia, root of Cyperus, root of Symplocos, gum of Bombax, and seed of Caesalpinia. They were mixed with clarified butter and encapsulated in soft gelatin capsule.
The author with his co-workers in the Department of Pharmacy Practice in a college in Bangalore-India studied the effect of an ayurvedic formulation Wh-1 on 36 patients. All the patients were given 1 capsule three times a day for ten days. Their vaginal swab test was done before starting treatment. This showed the cause of infection. At the end of the treatment of 10 days another swab test was repeated. This showed whether the patient responded to treatment or not. All the patients received physical examination by a physician.
What was the result of study?
36 patients (out of 56) completed the preliminary clinical study and their statistics are presented here. Significant results were seen microbiologically in 30 patients (83%). Age of patients ranged between 18 and 55 years. Maximum patients belonged to low income group. Duration of complaint varied from less than 1 month (4 days) to 8 years. 25 patients improved with the first course of 10 days treatment (69%). 7 patients received 2 courses of medicine and 2 patients 3 courses of medicine. 2 patients received more than 4 courses of medicine without benefit.
Out of 36 patients who completed the trial 14 suffered from bacterial infection. 9 of them were cured (64%). 3 patients had candida fungus infection and 17 had mixed infection. All of them were cured at the end of treatment (100%). There were 2 cases of atrophic vaginitis (after menopause) of which only one improved. (50%) Out of 36 patients 30 were cured of white discharge (83%)
Highlight of this study is that a single polyherbal drug was used for treatment of vaginitis of varying causes. It is the practice in modern medicine to prescribe separate infection- specific treatments.
What is the significance of this study?
Since vaginitis is caused by different microbial agents their treatment has got to be different. The medicine given for vaginitis caused by bacteria will not be effective for one caused by fungus. However in the present study Wh-1 capsule was given to 3 types of vaginitis with satisfactory result. This holds a lot of significance for medical fraternity. In the first place it would be possible to avoid the routine vaginal swab test before prescribing a treatment. Secondly it throws up some questions. What is the method of its action? Does it kill the causative organisms or increase the natural fighting capacity of the body? Probably further research will give definite answers.
The present research has given a new hope for safe and sure treatment of white discharge in women.

QUESTION:
what is the treatment for vaginitis?
Please be specific.......meds? if so which ones?-
ANSWER:
"Vaginitis" is a broad term for any infection or inflammation of the vagina. Since there are a several different kinds of vaginitis-- each with their own causes and symptoms-- treatments/medication will vary.Candida or "yeast" infections of the vagina are probably the most familiar form of vaginitis. They occur when too much of the fungus Candida grows in the vagina. Yeast infections produce a thick, white discharge from the vagina that can look like cottage cheese. The discharge can be watery and often has no smell.
Yeast infections usually cause the vagina and vulva (the area outside the vagina) to become itchy and red. They are usually treated with an anti-yeast cream or suppository placed inside the vagina. Your doctor can write a prescription for most yeast infection treatments. Although you can also buy medicine to treat yeast infections over-the-counter, it's important to see your doctor for a firm diagnosis the first time you have symptoms of a yeast infection for obvious reasons.
Bacterial vaginosis is the most common vaginal infection in women of reproductive age. It is caused by an overgrowth of bacteria that are usually present in the vagina. Bacterial vaginosis will often cause a thin, milky discharge from the vagina that may have a "fishy" odor. Many women have no symptoms and only discover they have it during a routine gynecologic exam. It's treated with an antibiotic (usually either metronidazole or clindamycin) that gets rid of the "bad" bacteria and leaves the "good" bacteria. There is no over-the-counter treatment for bacterial vaginosis, so it is important to see your doctor for diagnosis (and prescription, if necessary).
Trichomoniasis is a sexually transmitted disease that is caused by a single-cell parasite. It can cause vaginal itching, burning, and soreness of the vagina and vulva, as well as burning during urination. Again, many women do not develop any symptoms at all. Sexually transmitted forms of vaginitis need to be treated by a doctor right away. It is important to avoid sexual contact until you have been treated to prevent spreading the infection. Your sexual partner(s) will need treatment as well. (Usual prescribed treatment includes either metronidazole or clotrimazole.)
Then there is the non-infectious vaginitis which is usually caused by an allergic reaction or irritation from vaginal sprays, douches, spermicidal products, soaps, detergents, or fabric softeners. It can cause burning, itching, or vaginal discharge even if there is no infection.
This form of vaginitis can be treated by simply ceasing use of the product that caused the allergic reaction or irritation. Your doctor may also be able to provide medicated cream to help reduce the symptoms until the reaction subsides. It's important to remember that each type of vaginitis has a different treatment. Therefore it is very important to just go ahead and see your doctor in order to be sure you're using the right treatment for your condition. Also, as some types of vaginitis have no symptoms, it's important to have regular gynecologic exams. Take care and best of luck to you!

Why Does My Vagina Smell

Why Does My Vagina Smell Like Fish? 3 Remedies That Cures Bacterial Vaginosis And Symptoms
Why does my vagina smell like fish? First off lets get it straight: a fishy vaginal odor is not normal and is a sign of a bacterial infection. We are going to give you the procedures to stop the fishy vaginal odor by explaining what best cures Bacterial Vaginosis and symptoms. The reason we do this is because BV is the most common cause of a fishy vaginal odor.
I suffered for years with BV and I cried every day "why does my vagina smell like fish" because I was so embarrassed. I did go to the doctor and he explained to me that what was causing the fishy vaginal odor was indeed BV and he always gave me some antibiotics that cures Bacterial Vaginosis and symptoms.
The antibiotics would work for a little bit but then the fishy vaginal odor would come back even stronger and I would find myself screaming to god again "why does my vagina smell like fish so much!"
I started looking online and found out that it is a very common problem. The antibiotics that the doctor was giving me cures Bacterial Vaginosis and symptoms by killing that bad bacteria in the vagina that causes the fishy vaginal odor.
The problem is that these same antibiotics kill the good bacteria that is beneficial to your vagina as well.
When the vagina has no good bacteria to fight off the bad bacteria the BV comes back stronger then ever causing extreme fishy vaginal odor that leaves you once again screaming why does my vagina smell like fish?
It is a viscous cycle!!
Researching deeper I found out that there are better, safer, and more natural remedies that cures Bacterial Vaginosis and symptoms. These stop the fishy vaginal odor for good and leave you with a great feeling so you do not have to ask why does my vagina smell like fish anymore.
The first remedy that cures Bacterial Vaginosis and symptoms is plain natural yogurt. I know it sounds weird, but it works. Apply a generous amount to a tampon and leave in for a few hours. Do this for 3 days and you will find that the fishy vaginal odor has gone away.
The second remedy that cures Bacterial Vaginosis and symptoms is garlic. Ingesting garlic tablets that you can get from any store will actually build the good bacteria in your vagina up and kill the bad bacteria. Use the recommended dose on bottle.
The third remedy that cures bacterial Vaginosis and symptoms is tea tree oil. This must be diluted with water or else it is painfully strong. Apply to vagina with a suppository, or with your fingers every day for a week. You will notice the very strong smell, which is why it works so well to get rid of the fishy vaginal odor.
I hope this not only answered the question of why does my vagina smell like fish, but also gave you some solutions. These are only the first steps in how to get rid of BV. There are so many more articles on this subject that are located at the site linked with this article. I truly hope that you stop by.

QUESTION:
why does my vagina smell like sweat but my armpits never do?
i dont get why my vagina smells like sweat so much. but i rarely ever sweat. i shower every day how do i get rid of the smell-
ANSWER:
Amazing how shy we get about this kind of thing. Especally when you consider all of the crazy things women will openly discuss with other women! Now, before I continue – this article is being written for anyone looking to smell lovely “down there”. It’s not just for women who’ve had complaints, or think they smell badly. These are little facts and tips that benefit anyone with a vagina. If you have any extra tips you'd iike to add in the comments section, feel free to do so!
First, let's cover the possible culprits that lead to bad smells.
Poor Hygiene: Pretty obvious, so I won’t get into this one other than to say you should be washing this area daily. If not, that’s probably the source of your funk.Bacterial Vaginosis: This is a bacterial infection that causes a distinct “fishy” smell. It’s pungent and nasty. It’s caused by an overgrowth of natural bacteria – you don’t have to be trampy and sleeping around to get it. It will not go away on it’s on, and you can’t treat it with something like Monistat, cos it’s a bacteria (and Monistat is an anti-fungal). So don’t self-treat if you think you have this, go to the doctor and get a prescription for what you need.
Yeast Infections: Most of these don’t smell, so I’m not even going to address it. I’m just mentioning it because so many men think they have a clue about a woman’s body, and are keen to diagnose. So I’m just saying – No, nuh-uh, highly unlikely. Next.
SweetSpot Labs® On-The-Go Wipettes - 3 Pack - Mixed Pack of Three Scents
Amazon Price:STD’s: These certainly can smell – but most STD’s don’t present symptoms in women. So it’s unlikely this is the source. That said – if the problem persists, or if you know you’ve been exposed, you should still be tested.
Now let’s talk about the more common causes of vaginal odor:
Funky Urine: The urethra is located on prime real estate, y’all. If your urine is funky, odds are the scent will linger. And that can easily be misconstrued as vaginal odor. Which means you need to figure out what’s making your urine rank. Coffee, tea, asparagus, beets, curry – anything pungent or otherwise strong smelling. What goes in, must come out.
Sweat: If you think you don’t sweat in this area, think again. If you want to prevent odor from building up, carry some baby wipes in your purse and use them a few times a day. Also, there is often a significant decrease in this scent when a woman is clean shaven around the labia. Hair does hold scent – spend 20 minutes in a smoke-filled bar and you’ll see what I mean. Your hair will hold the scent until you wash it again.
Baby Wipes: A girl's best friend! Carry a trial pack in your bag, and keep a pack in your bathroom. Use them instead of toilet paper and you'll be glad you did!Cranberry juice: Cranberry juice naturally counters bacteria in the urinary tract system. If you have funky urine, this will help. Drink a glass every day and see if you notice any improvement.
Shave: As I mentioned above.
Pineapple Juice: I’ve heard it claimed, but personally doubt it – I drink quite a lot of pineapple juice and haven’t noticed its significance. Then again, I’ve been drinking 12 or 15 glasses a week for the last 5 years, so maybe the changes happened so long ago I don’t recall.
Baby Oil: Note: Don’t use this internally! But you can always use some of this externally if you don’t mind the greasy feeling. You could try cream as well, but, again, not internally.

QUESTION:
Why does my vagina smell like metal if i don't have a period?
Okk i've looked for the answer of why does my vagina smell like metal.. & all of them say that it's because your blood has iron in it and i means your either on your period or about to be.. Well im on the depo shot and i dont have my period anymore so it couldn't be anything about my period.. Please can someone tell me other possible answers of why it would smell this way?-
ANSWER:
It's probably that you are having a tiny bit of breakthrough bleeding--not enough to show up on your underwear, but enough to cause you to smell it. A much smaller amount is needed to smell it than to see it. That kind of slight breakthrough bleeding can occur with Depo-Provera.

QUESTION:
Why Does my Vagina Smell? - Serious?
It's been about 5 years that my Vagina has had this reek odour. I have had a test done last year it showed Gram Negative bacteria, the doctor gave me pills for it. (Gram Negative Bac is usually urinary track cases) The smell didn't go away. Even today it still smells and it's a foul odour. It doesn't smell like Periods (I'm on birthcontrol started last year so I don't get periods) it smells like the Mucus is rotty. The doctors did a recent test about a month ago with a swab but they found NOTHING! The doctor is sending me to a Gynocologist to have further testings.
If anyone has any information on why Vaginas may smell, please help me because it's a very foul odour.
I sleep naked, and I rarely wear anything but cotton. My diet consists of
40% Startch
20% Veges/Fruits
20% Meat
10% Dairy
10% Water/SugarPlease reply to this if you have any knowledge about this situation.
Thanks,
- Tree
I do NOT use soap at all inside the vagina. I do wash with water.A point to be made though, when the Doctor did put the swab into the cervix (for some of you who don't know behind the hole) and it burned. I couldn't even pee at the time!
Another point to be made,
the mucus is quite thick but clear. It has a honey like texture but it's not cottage cheese like.
I get A LOT of mucus comming out from an entire day. I would say about 100mL atleast of thick mucus. I also have a very rough texture in the vagina (if that locates to any internal problems).A question, is the smell within the mucus or the Vagina?
And where is this bacteria comming from?
-------------------------------
Facts:
I've never had sex.
I never use tampons.
I'm on Birthcontrol everyday (no periods)
I tend not to wipe the urine completely off the inside of my vagina after urinating.
If I use my abdomen muscles, the mucus comes out more.
I DO NOT DO DRUGS! (important)-
ANSWER:
Well do you clean real good down there? If you dont...the dead bacteria that isnt cleaned will stay there and start to rot and smell....i know this from a experience..i never really used to clean down there..but ever since i have...there is no odor.EDIT: okay...when i had a smell in my vagina...it smelled horrible! and some people said that if you have a smell that means you have an infection...but i couldnt tell if it was because of my discharge or just my vagina....but one lady said that if you dont clean it...it will start to smell. so its not always the discharge...one day i cleaned it...and there was no odor....and it wasnt my discharge. i also do have a habit of not completely wiping the urine off.....so thats dead bacteria left on your vagina...clean it off...and when you shower...you dont need soap unless you want to..but it may irritate your vagina....i use it....and it helps. and so just use water and soap...or just water and use your cloth that you clean with and gently wipe down there....and the next day...if it still smells...then i dont know...your doctor says there is no infection...but yeah. also you need to eat more yogurt!!!!! it will help alot! eat yogurt with live cultures in it...because there is this culture in it...like like lactbacillus or bifidus something like that.l..and i looked it up on the internet...and it said these cultures are already found naturally on a vagina and in our mouthes....if they are found naturally on our vagina...then they are good...they are there for a reason...so get some yogurt with those 2 cultures in it!! drink lots of water to flush out your system! stop eating so much starch and eat more veggies and fruits. improve your diet...those 2 cultures i really did look up one time...and they are good....although i am not too comfortable knowing that in my yogurt there are some living things crawling around in there...but they are good for the body...most yogurts has these cultures in it....so yeahh but check the ingredients!
i hope this helps!!!

Types Of Bacteria

Types Of Bacteria
Bacteria are single-celled organisms which can only be seen through a microscope. There are many types of bacteria, different sizes and shapes. Before the invention of DNA sequencing, bacteria was classified according to shape. This technique was used to help understand the relationship between two types of bacteria. It is important to note that these micro-organisms are found in all types of the environment.
There are various groups of bacteria which belong to the same family and are evolved from the same bacteria, though with different characteristics. Bacteria are grouped into classification based on shapes which are rod, sphere and spiral. These microorganisms are also classified based on the requirement of oxygen for their survival. Those that require oxygen for their survival are known as aerobic, while those that do not require oxygen are known as anaerobic.
Types of bacteria could be either be gram positive or gram negative, which is based on the results of gram staining method. There are also those that are grouped as either autotrophic or heterotrophic. This means the amount of carbon that these need from carbon-dioxide. Other microscopic organisms are based on morphology, DNA sequencing, conditions required and biochemistry. Heterotrophic bacteria obtain carbon and/or sugar from the environment they are in (for example, the living cells or organism they are in).
There are so many diseases that are caused by the various types of bacteria since many are fond of moist areas. All the various diseases have their own ways of curing them. It is quite important that a close attention is paid to the micro-organism causing this disease before treatment can be sought. This helps to solve diseases using the right type of medication.

QUESTION:
What bacteria types are involved with out of date cooked sliced ham?
If you kept cooked reformed ham slices in a refridgerator for 30 days, in an open packet, what types of bacteria would you expect to see after 14 and 28 days?
Its the disease causing bacteria that are a concern.-
ANSWER:
ive already told you. commonly, staphylococcus spp. are found on many prepared foods. you will always find a variety of fungi on prepared foods as they are ubiquitous little buggers. you may find e coli if the packager didnt wash his hands after going poo. you may find a variety of other nondisease causing organisms as well.EDIT: the bacteria that ive listed ARE the disease-causing bacteria. staph produces a toxin (staphylotoxin) that cause the vast majority of "food poisoning." e coli, well, everyone knows that one. other than that, no sweat. most fungi dont really bother us when ingested. they may, however, procuce waste products that do.
what im trying to say is that the majority of people ive treated for "food posioning" either ingest staphylotoxin, e coli, or samonella. all may be found on prepared ham...who knows? usually, prepared ham is loaded with sodium as a preservative and not much of anything can grow in that sh1t. so, i wouldnt worry if i were you.

Gel For Bacterial Vaginosis

Home Remedies for Bv Infection - Treat Bacterial Vaginosis Naturally
It is widely known that home remedies for BV infection are a better alternative treatment than antibiotics. Bacterial vaginosis is caused by an imbalance of bacteria within the vagina. There can be various causes of this, including something as simple as over-washing, a change in shower gel or a new sexual partner. When this imbalance occurs, the bad bacteria which is present even in a healthy vagina can overgrow and cause the typical symptoms such as itching, burning and the unpleasant fishy odor.
A healthy vagina contains a balance of "good" and "bad" bacteria, with the good keeping the bad in check. When antibiotics are used, both the good and bad bacteria are killed off which means that when bad bacteria naturally begins to repopulate the vagina, the good bacteria will not have built up to a sufficient level to control the bad.
This is why over 70% of women who take antibiotics to get rid of bacterial vaginosis have a repeat infection within a couple of weeks of stopping treatment.

Bacterial Vaginosis Period

Chronic Bacterial Vaginosis Support Forums - How to Deal with Chronic Bacterial Vaginosis and Gain Good Health
The term bacterial vaginosis denotes a condition (osis) of the vagina (vagino) caused by the proliferation of bacterial species which are not otherwise present in the reproductive tract or if present, in controlled numbers. The normal flora of the reproductive tract consists mostly of Lactobacillus species which maintain the acidity of the tract. When other microorganisms (previously reputed to be Gardnerella species) are allowed to proliferate, many of the symptoms associated with bacterial vaginosis arise.
In reality, symptoms of vaginosis are minimal, causing minor discomfort, and they usually do not cause severe complications (except during pregnancy). The problem, however, with the disease is that it tends to reoccur after a certain period of time of being symptom free. This is where chronic bacterial vaginosis support forums come in.
